FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Gatekeeper Receives Purchase Order For $93,478
Abbotsford, BC April 30, 2014 – Gatekeeper Systems Inc. (“Gatekeeper” or the “Company”) (TSX.V: GSI) is pleased to announce that it has received a purchase order from Douglas County School District, Nevada, to upgrade their fleet of school buses with Gatekeeper’s wireless system, the 304SD Mobile Digital Video Recorder.
The 304SD Mobile Digital Video Recorder comes equipped with WiFi and Gatekeeper’s unique Autowake function, which enables the user to turn on the DVR and WiFi radio in the vehicle in order to access video remotely.
Doug Dyment, President and CEO of Gatekeeper comments “We are thrilled that Douglas County has chosen to upgrade their fleet with Gatekeeper’s wireless system. We are confident that the 304SD system will not only benefit the safety of children while in and around school buses, but will also improve efficiency and decrease costs for the customer due to the ease of accessing videos and data wirelessly.” Dyment also added, “Network bandwidth limitations are a real issue when an unlimited number of vehicles attempt to upload video simultaneously upon returning to their respective yards or depots. The Autowake feature provides our customers with the ability to control bandwidth when they retrieve video from any vehicle in any yard wirelessly; thus controlling the amount of data that is transmitted across the network.”
A total of 29 systems with four cameras on each system has been ordered, with a total contract value of $93,478.
