Gatekeeper Expands Stop Arm Camera Technology to Wyoming

Abbotsford, BC May 14, 2014 – Gatekeeper Systems Inc. (“Gatekeeper” or the “Company”) (TSX.V: GSI) is pleased to announce that it has expanded its stop arm camera technology to the State of Wyoming by way of a new purchase order worth USD $42,119 from Sublette County School District #1 (“Sublette County”). Gatekeeper will be installing the Student Protector™ License Plate Reader Systems on Sublette County’s school buses, with the addition of an internal camera as an integrated internal and external system, to help assist administrators create a safer environment in and around school buses.

The Student Protector™ License Plate Reader System comes equipped with high-speed license reading technology, an EVIDENCEPAK™ which provides law enforcement with data required for prosecution, and the Gatekeeper Partnering Program™. Under the Gatekeeper Partnering Program™, School Districts and Counties obtain access to Gatekeeper’s TIM™ (Ticket Infraction Management) system. Gatekeeper’s TIM™ is a cloud based software application which manages the entire ticketing process from matching the license plate of the violating vehicle to the owner of the vehicle, to managing and collecting funds. The Gatekeeper Partnering Program™ provides stakeholders with a number of options under the program including receiving equipment free of charge and sharing in revenue from stop arm violations between the County and Gatekeeper.

Doug Dyment, President and CEO of Gatekeeper comments, “Sublette County has been a previous customer of ours, utilizing the 304 solid state internal camera system to help provide a safer environment for their students inside the buses. We are pleased they have expanded to our stop arm camera technology to deter stop arm violations and provide a safer environment outside the buses while students enter and exit”. Dyment added, “The number of projects in our sales funnel related to stop arm camera technology is growing significantly. It has been a tough winter across the country which has delayed projects in many areas due to extreme weather conditions. The Company is close to landing several of these projects that will utilize Gatekeeper’s Auto Ticketing Software, which we believe offers significant value for our shareholders while providing school districts and counties with valuable technology. There is a projected 15 million stop arm violations that will occur throughout the United States in 2014.” As of January 22 nd , 2014 twenty-six States across the United States, as well as some Provinces in Canada, have enacted law, or legislation has been introduced or is pending, that allows authorities to use data from a school bus video system to issue a ticket for stop arm violations.

A recent news report by ABC Chicago exposed many stop arm violators during regular bus routes which are potentially putting children’s lives at risk. In January, 2014, new legislation was passed in Illinois, USA which allows for ticketing of motorists through the use of video from a school bus video system as evidence. Gatekeeper recently signed an agreement with Cook Illinois Corporation which allows Gatekeeper to install its high speed license plate reading system on their buses. Cook Illinois Corporation has a fleet of approximately 2,000 school buses, and the first phase of installation has been completed. Gatekeeper is now in the process of working with Counties and School Districts to offer its Partnering Services Program.
